Prepositions of movement
In English, movement is usually described using Verb of movement+Preposition. This gives a lot of flexibility. We can say: He walked/ran/crawled/sneaked/squeezed/etc., into the room.
E.g.
He stepped into the room-Entro en/pasó a la habitación
He ran across the street-Cruzó la calle corriendo
He jumped up to answer the phone-Se levantó de un salto para contestar al teléfono
Prepositions include the following: into, out (of), up(wards), down(wards), under, through, over, passed, around, off, behind, in front of.
