Ish-suffix
The suffix ish can be added to adjectives and nouns to mean "approximately" or "characteristic of". It is commonly used in informal conversation.
E.g.
The book is greenish— El libro es verdoso
His sister is quite boyish— Su hermana es bastante machona
He is oldish— Es algo viejo
We arrived at around tennish— Llegamos hacia las diez
-Was she attractive? - Ish— ¿Era guapa? - Algo
